Subprocessors

Last updated: 2026-05-11

Subprocessors are third-party service providers that may process personal data on our behalf to operate and secure the Service. This list applies to the managed ZephMatrix cloud offering; self-hosted deployments may differ based on your configuration.

Standard managed cloud subprocessors

  • Cloudflare (DNS, reverse proxy, CDN, TLS edge services) — Processes website and application traffic metadata, including IP address and request metadata, to deliver and protect the managed service.
  • DigitalOcean (cloud hosting, managed PostgreSQL, object storage) — Hosts application infrastructure, managed databases, and DigitalOcean Spaces object storage used by the managed service.
  • Infisical (secrets management) — Used to store and inject encrypted secrets in managed deployments.
  • Anthropic (AI model provider) — Used to generate AI agent outputs when Claude-powered workflows are enabled.
  • Paddle (merchant of record and billing processor) — Used for subscription checkout, payment collection, tax handling, billing events, and customer billing portal flows.

Optional / conditional subprocessors

  • OpenAI (AI model and embeddings provider) — Used for optional embeddings and legacy AI service paths when that provider is enabled for a deployment.
  • Amazon Web Services (transactional email delivery via SES, when configured) — Used for account verification, operational notifications, and compliance-related email delivery when the managed cloud deployment uses AWS SES.
  • Customer-approved SMTP provider (conditional) — If a managed deployment uses a customer-selected SMTP relay instead of AWS SES, that relay may process transactional email metadata and message content required for delivery.

Notes

  • This list covers managed cloud by default; self-hosted deployments may differ.
  • Standard managed cloud processors are listed above; optional processors apply only when the relevant feature or provider is enabled.
  • We update this page when adding, removing, or materially changing processors.
