Connecting tools with MCP integrations

ZephMatrix uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI teammates to external systems in a standardized way.

Where integrations are managed

Integrations are configured from the ZephMatrix dashboard. From there, you can:

  • • Register MCP servers and tools
  • • Associate tools with specific roles
  • • Control which teammates can call which tools

MCP as the primary integration surface

MCP allows tools to be declared with schemas and capabilities, so AI teammates know how to call them safely. ZephMatrix manages the connection lifecycle and passes requests through your MCP tools at runtime.
