How billing and usage limits work
ZephMatrix limits are enforced by the platform so agents don't silently exceed budgets. Today, most accounts operate with a single workspace.
Agent capacity and limits
Paid plans include monthly agent capacity for investigations, workflow reasoning, owner routing, approval/execution follow-through, and verification. Hidden Cost Reports are platform discovery runs and are tracked separately from agent capacity.
You can view usage and limits in Dashboard → Billing.
Approvals and safety
Many agent actions are approval-gated. When billing or tool access blocks an action, the platform returns a structured error instead of letting the agent over-claim success.
Checkout provider configuration
In self-hosted/dev environments, online upgrades require a checkout provider to be configured with valid credentials. If no provider is configured, billing pages can still show plans and limits, but checkout actions are disabled.
