How billing and usage guardrails work
ZephMatrix tracks operating usage so larger pilots can be supported deliberately. Today, most accounts operate with a single workspace.
Agent operating usage
Paid plans include operating guardrails that protect reliability and prevent runaway automation. AWS connections, integrations, and similar pilot boundaries are observed internally so setup and first value are not interrupted.
You can view usage and limits in Dashboard → Billing.
Approvals and safety
Many agent actions are approval-gated. When billing or tool access blocks an action, the platform returns a structured error instead of letting the agent over-claim success.
Checkout provider configuration
In self-hosted/dev environments, online upgrades require a checkout provider to be configured with valid credentials. If no provider is configured, billing pages can still show plans and limits, but checkout actions are disabled.
